Taupo Golf Club offers golfers a unique golfing experience with two 18 hole golf courses on offer year round, along with modern facilities and services to provide you with a wonderful golfing experience in Taupo. Our courses are located close to Taupo Township and situated in a mature park setting amongst thermal activity and under the eye of Mt Tauhara. Both have free draining soils thanks to the pumice base for excellent winter playing surfaces, while full fairway irrigation ensures wonderful summer golfing as well.

The Centennial course is the Clubs Championship course and the younger of the two courses being established in 1973. It's a challenging layout with undulating fairways, large greens, and ever increasing bunker plan. At 6350m off the Blue tees it's a true test of golf but offers two other tee options for those wanting less of a challenge - the White Club tees at 6032m and Yellow tee at 5504m. The course has hosted the NZ Men and Women's championships along with numerous national age group events confirming its reputation of a course to be respected.

The Tauhara course is the older sister, being established in 1928 and offer park like layout as opposed to the inland links of Centennial. It is relatively short at 5667m (white tee) and 5268 (yellow tee), and offers smaller but testing greens, and with only 5 bunkers on course, less chance of spending time at the beach!
